Table Talk

Southern Elopement at Sea

Posted on: October 11th, 2016 by Misty Taylor

As a Charlestonian, it is quite obvious that there is a boating culture all of its own. Rachel Red Photography and Lindsay Bishop Events beautifully captured that culture in the stunning Charleston Harbor, and Polished Tabletop was tickled pink to be a part of it! Featured on Southern Weddings.

Enough Pie

Posted on: November 16th, 2015 by Misty Taylor

It was such an honor to be able to assist Cathryn and her team at their first ever fundraiser for Enough Pie a few weeks ago at the LIGHT + SOUND event held on Charleston’s Upper Peninsula. To say there was ‘enough pie’ for everyone is an understatement! Pies [and pie stands] galore at this fabulously delicious event. Be sure to check out all the the Enough Pie organization is doing for our community by visiting their site at enoughpie.org/about!

Beachy & Beautiful Inspiration Photo Shoot

Posted on: September 24th, 2015 by Misty Taylor

Last summer we were honored to work with the ladies of Lemiga Events out of Atlanta, Georgia on a wedding inspiration photo shoot that took place at Wild Dunes Resort. The shoot was recently featured in print and online via The Celebration Society, as seen here, and emanated a beachy, feminine and coastal vibe; a perfect compliment to the local surroundings.

At the beginning of August we had the opportunity to work with The School of Styling during their retreat in Charleston, held at the Middleton Place Pavilion, and supply tablewares for their attendees to get creative with. Wow, did they ever create some tablescape magic! Take a look at some of their gorgeous designs, sure to draw some inspiration for your next event.

The inaugural Revolution Wedding Tour took place this past July at 4 fabulous Low Country venues – Striped Pig Distillery, Cannon Green, The Cedar Room, and Wingate Plantation. Each venue took on a different look with well-thought out decor and styling by the ladies of Scarlet Plan & Design, featuring Polished tabletop items at each of the venues. Brogann & Jon’s wedding at Big Survey Plantation was one for the books. Featured on The Knot (link below), you’ll see both whimsy and elegance in the tabletop decor. From the vintage china, to colorful glassware, and elegant flatware… this wedding was one of our favorite tablescapes of the Fall season!

Kate Spade Inspired Table Setting

Posted on: July 15th, 2015 by Misty Taylor

As we gear up for the summer edition of the Scarlet Wedding Tour in just a few weeks, we are reminiscing of the inaugural tour which took place in January 2015. Polished was the main vendor featured at each of the four venue locations visited by future wedding “I Do-ers”. The link below features our tablewares in a Kate Spade inspired setting at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.
